"In planning my wedding in 2007 make-up & hair for that special day had to honestly
be one of the last things on my list. I’m not a “girly-girl” and normally don’t
even wear make-up daily! Wear false eyelashes – whatever. I was hair illiterate
and required a lot of education. I was working with a slim budget and was determined
not to waste a dime on anything not explicitly necessary.
While attending a Bridal Potpourri Bridal Show held at Embassy Suits in 07 I dropped
my name in every hat hoping to win any prize or discount available. Mollie was the
only vendor that called me as a result of leaving my number in the fishbowl. I was
impressed that she followed up and had contacted me to offer a discount to her normal
pricing. I later learned after contacting other stylists that her pricing was very
reasonable without the discount and she was a lot more willing to work with my schedule
as many stylists will not work on Sundays.
For our wedding my Husband and I agreed the photos were the most important thing.
We discussed our priority with one of our photographers Mike Horne. He agreed we
had chosen a beautiful location & the Wedding Center helped me choose a great
dress I shared photos of with him but I was still neglecting the final piece that
would really make the biggest difference in the photos.
He recommended professional make-up application and added again the eyelashes make
a huge difference in photos. Still skeptical that up-dos and make-up & eyelashes
would make me look more like some overdressed prom queen I took the advice of countless
stylists, friends and other wedding vendors and scheduled the practice appointment.
Many of these vendors were familiar with Mollie’s work and assured me I was making
the right choice choosing Mollie as my wedding specialist.
She converted me! Not only physically but at the practice converted me mentally
by showing me there was a gorgeous bride waiting to be revealed. I was transformed
into a believer and finally convinced by the face in the mirror that the work Mollie
did really made me feel like a bride that was still natural but totally enhanced
into a more beautiful version of me. I left feeling confident, motivated, and pampered.
The day of the wedding she was on time, prepared and everything stayed on schedule.
She helped me with my dress and provided a relaxing fun atmosphere where I was special.
When I stepped off my carriage to greet my fiancé the look on his face said it all.
I looked and felt amazing and it would not have been possible without Mollie’s professional
care and hard work.
When we reviewed the photos from the wedding again I was amazed by how awesome they
came out. My hair, make-up & lashes lasted all day from ceremony to reception
and long after. Thank you Mollie for helping me to look beautiful for my dream wedding.
